Romania 2005

Twelve days by minibus through Transylvania, Moldavia, Bukovina and Maramures.
I'll add images as I have time to process them and then organize them when I'm done.

Loved the photos. I am born in Maramures so was enchanted by the Barsana row. Hope you'll visit again. I recommend going in the Salt mines at Turda or Praid for some spectacular shots or taking the steam-train up the Vaser Valley in Viseu Maramures, one of the last ones in use. If you like Medieval, Sigisoara (Schaessburg) is also a must-see.

i like your pictures.. i visited Romania the summer for last year, '04. i was in iasi, which is inbetween 2 mountain ranges very very beautiful country

It was fine, Erich -- there were only 8 of us on the bus, including the driver, and we could stop wherever we wanted.
