against this kind of algae most of the Neritina (or similar sorts) are the best. Especially when you want to have clean stones and decoration after few months.

For protecting the plants Flying Foxes or Amano Shrimps are my first choise.

sorry, I mean, what other snails can i put in also? that are good looking and not eating plants?

Personally, I don't like snail, since I got bad experience with snails, to be honest, you are the few ones that changed me on snails...

Question, Just wonder what kind of snail that you put in to get rid of the algae?? Why not Ottos or Siamese flying foxes???

The cause was the strong lightning and the water conditions wasn't perfect at this time.

I put in the tank some of the snails Neritina natalensis...and after some days you can't find any of this algae at the stones. And by the waterchange I suck off the algae with a hose.

I see you had some algae on this tank from the pictures of the 10th day. Did you find out what the cause of it was? And how did you get rid of it?

I think you can find some wonderful stones in Australia too...but it was a big country and hard to find :-)
