I am an aquascaping hobbyist in Hong Kong. It's really fantastic of you to make such a wonderful mini aquascaping!! I would like to ask:
1. You really maintain it without filter? Do you need to add liquified CO2??
2. How long is the lighting for it per day?
3. You mentioned that using both tape water and minteral water, how much is the ratio?
4. I am planning to build up a tank with 5"L x 4"H x 3"W, it is possible to do so?
Oh, seems I have too much to ask...but I will be extremely happy if you give me advice~

I love gardens and I want to construct some in water. About Nano tnak, I would like to know:

01. How can you provide CO2?
02. Do you use dioneized water?

Hy Derek,

very nice that I inspire you with this small aquarium.

Unfortunately the tank don't exist anymore. It beginning to leaking, but I want to make a new one with better quality of glas.

The light was using a 9Watt Compact Light you can find it in table desk lightnings for office tables (for example).

Because of the CO²: I used with the water change every 3 days a little bit mineral water with the normal tabe water included. This was enough for this tank.

no heating only a weekly complete water change. Not difficult to build but difficult to take care. A little bit to small :-)

Hallo Niki,

an dem Becken ist kein Filter, wird aber jede Woche das Wasser ausgetauscht. CO² wird in Form von Mineralwasser ins Wasser gegeben, in dem ich jeden Tag damit das verdunstete Wasser aufülle. Das reicht vollkommen aus.

Eventuell stelle ich den nächsten Tagen, aktuelle Bilder von diesem Becken in die Gallerie.

Mich würde mal interessieren, ob es in diesem Becken eine Filterung gibt und ob sie hier mit CO2 düngen? Und wenn ja, wie?

Hallo Frank,

das Becken wird mit einer Kompaktleuchtsoffröhre Osram DuluxS 9 Watt beleuchtet.

Ich werde mal abwarten wie sich das Becken entwickelt und dann vielleicht 2-3 Minigarnelen reinsetzen. Allerdings habe ich meine Bedenken das die Garnelen aus dem Becken krabbeln. (Muß dann eventuell ein Gaze drüber legen)

interessanes Experiment. Mit was beleuchest Du und wird es hier einen Besatz geben (z.B. Bienengarnele) geben ?
