many thanks for your advice i have replaced the arcadia original for the arcadia freshwater with a kelvin rating of 7500 and within two weeks the hemianthus has flurished thankyou again for your superb advice and keep up the good work.
I think the light is enough. Maybe you try more from the Arcadia lamp with a Kelvin about 7.500 this was a good color. Please be sure that the water temperature is not over 26C, the Hemianthus like it not to warm. Raise the iron a little bit if the get yellow leafs.

dear oliver i have had my planted tank set up for at least five weeks now i have had great success with ludwigia inclunata cuba, anubias barteri, crpt wendetii, and java moss however i have been trying to grow hemianthus cuba it seems to be spreading but is thinning out and look yellow in places and the rest of the leaves look like they are getting a coating of algae on them it is a 260 litre juwel vision that i have added two extra tubes too they are two dennerle special plant tubes 38w one arcadia original 38w ant one dennerle kongo white 25w which is positioned in the centre of the tank for the java moss i have growing on driftwood i do a twenty five per cent water change on the aquarium every three days and dose with tropica master grow every three days i would love to grow this plant to its full potential and any advice would be most appreciated im farely new to planted aquariums so excuse me if i sound a bit vague many thanks stuart.
