330 Liter - "Lower Maintenance Expenses (LME)"

Lighting: 2 x 30 Watt - T8 (optional add. 1 x 30 Watt more)
Plants: Crinum thaianum, Anubias nana, different Crypocoryne sorts
Fish: Melanotaenia boesemani
Water: Medium hardness (KH 8)
CO: no
UV: Yes (18 Watt)
Filter: 2 Eheim canister filter

Objective: LME (Lower Maintenance Expenses) means that we try to keep this tank with low engergy and low maintenance as possible. Easy equipment and easy to handle, thats the challenge. And the most important: Reproducibility for everybody.

Das ist eine rote Moorwurzel von AquaDeco Meyer. Ich habe die Wurzel nicht gewässert sondern beim Einrichten mit den Steine verkeilt.

Hi Oliver,
ein wirklich sehr schönes Layout! Sag mal, ist das Moorwood (Amtra)? Oder was für eine Wurzel hast du hier eingesetzt? Wo bekomme ich sowas in dieser Größe? Diese Größe kann man doch bestimmt nur in der Badewanne wässern oder wie hast du das hinbekommen?

mein Respekt für Deine Kreationen. Ich habe aber eine ganz profane Frage um welches Model es sich bei dem Aquarium handelt. Es schein ein "Raumteiler" mit verdeckten Anschlüssen zu sein, und davon gibt es leider nicht viele. Danke und Gruß aus Berlin.

I've always been a fan of your aquascaping. I was wondering, does this tank use any fertilization method? How long are your lights on a day? Thanks!

This tank works without any fertilizer. Only with waterchange and the nutrients from the fishes/fishfood. Very easy. The lightning time was about 10 hours per day.

Hy Ofir, I used rocks called in Germany "Minilandschaft" see here: www.aquadeco.com
And Dennerle Black gravel as ground.

I use only the 2 x 30 Watt over the tank and using Osram Daylight Deluxe (Kelvin 6.500).

Hy Kathy,

yes I use a UV sterilizer at one of the canister filter. Waterchange in this tank every week about 15%. Better weekly a small quantity of water changing then every 2-3 weeks a bis waterchange.

Kannst Du vielleicht mal was zu dem Boden schreiben, der in dem Aquarium verwendet wird. Harmoniert sehr gut und scheint den Pflanzen Nahrung zu geben... Sehr schöne, gesunde Pflanzen. Wird eigentlich flüssig gedüngt ?

Der Bodengrund ist Dennerle Kies Diamantschwarz als Dünger drunter habe ich Tropica AquaCare Substrat benutzt. Gedüngt wird sonst nichts, aus dem Boden reicht und was so an Nährstoffen ans Wasser abgegeben wird (Futter, Fische).
