Chicago had nothing on us today. Early this morning around 5 AM a front went through and the rain and winds began. The winds kept up most of the day with a reported 45,000 customers in the area without power. Luckily I never lost power but when I was out early this morning I was dodging trash totes and recycle bins and flying paper all over. Many trees and power lines are down causing much damage to homes, businesses and utilities. We paid dearly for our past two days of weather when the temperatures set record highs for the dates: 62 F on Monday and 67 F on Tuesday.
