Never Connected These Two...

I've been doing some regular maintenance (painting) on my house and today while in Home Depot to get more paint I saw this at the counter while waiting for my paint to be shaken (not stirred :-). I have always used a screwdriver to open the can and it's about time I had a proper paint can opener. However I never really considered needing a bottle opener while painting but they may be correct because a nice cold bottle of beer sure tastes good when I'm done for the day!

other sizes: small medium large original auto

I think it's a good combination, though a warning sign on the back should state that you should not drink more than 4 bottles of beer when doing trim. :)

A very handy dual purpose tool. V

Now you can paint the town red using either end of your gadget.

Never hurts to have a bottle opener and a bottle of beer sure tastes good after a hard day of painting!

Perfect for a painter and decorator with a big thirst, Patti! *V*

I note that the manufacturer feels no need to illustrate how to open the beer bottle.

Seems like a good idea to me. Just wait till the painting is done.

they go together!!!

Lol. As long as the bottle opener is employed after the painting then the results should turn out just fine.

Why do you think some paint jobs look like a drunk painted it....
Coleen Perilloux Landry14-Jul-2014 00:22
Don't get it confused and drink the paint.

There is a different one that is not a bottle opener but will replace the paint can lid without damaging it! Maybe I'll use it for a pad one of these days! I do hope you stir when you get home! :-)

I love your logic - great shot, enjoy!

Paainting should always be done when you are out there! :)

Patti, wasn't it obvious? Seems you figured out in a hurry though.
Happy painting.... ;-)

Looks like you got something for double duty! And how convenient that they put these out at the counter -- certainly would attract attention with those neon colors!
