4 Inches Down and Who Knows How Many More I'll Get...

It's 1 PM Friday and I just got done clearing the driveway of 4 inches of semi-wet snow (would make a great snowman or snowballs). By the time I got to the end of the driveway, there was another 1/2 inch of snow laid down where I had already cleaned. The temperature is hanging at 33F (~ 1C) and if it would just drop 5 degrees the snow would be drier and less of a problem (wet snow always causes power outages among other things). I like snow but why do we have to get 12 inches at a time? We're only getting hit by the upper storm and not the one that's going up the eastern coast.
The good news is that by Monday and Tuesday the temperatures will be in the 40'sF (~ 5C) and it will melt away.
Maybe that groundhog is going to be correct this year...

We rarely get anything that's not wet down here. Be careful up there.

Well, I know it's a bother to shovel, but I think this is simply gorgeous. Of course, I don't have to shovel our very long driveway ;-).

Is that G Hog ever correct? Well maybe 51% of the time! Wish I could send you the Sunshine we are enjoying in Madison right now. Stay warm, use the snow blower, and stay warm!
