Taking the Gear Apart

Workers cut and jack hammered the gear apart today.
It looks like the water level dropped several inches based on the water mark on the cement base.
Not many folks out watching the work today because it was cold, windy and dreary.
I'm not sure if it made it above freezing today and there were strong winds all day.
Sorry the image is not that sharp but the winds were fierce today.

I agree with Brian; I've enjoyed watching the progress in this series, although I still think it's sad to see something like this bridge dismantled. The end of an era, I'm sure. Good capture, despite the weather!
