I received 1.5 inches (~ 3.8 cm) of rain today from those fierce storms that blew through the Midwest yesterday. That takes care of the mild drought we have been in since June.
As I was doing some work on the computer after dinner tonight, I noticed the room had a very warm glow and when I looked out and saw the light rain again I ran to the east side of the house and sure enough there was a rainbow. It's been a really long time since I last saw one and then I realized I needed to get my camera and capture a shot of it. I ran through the house like a crazy woman and stood outside to get this shot. Not the greatest shot nor the strongest rainbow but I did capture it. Hopefully I'll have a great week now :-)
