Last night was the annual RIT Big Shot night and this year it was held at Seabreeze Amusement Park which has been around since 1879. Unlike last year's image, where I was lucky enough to be right in front, this year I was way in back helping to light up the flume and roller coaster parts.
Oh if you check out the Big Shot image, yes those are people on all the rides: the wooden roller coaster (way in the back), the Flume (behind the YoYo), the YoYo and the Screaming Eagle (to the right of the Yoyo)!
We really lucked out because the weather was perfect: the day's high was 81F, no wind, no fog (the park is right up near the lakeshore) and about an hour after the shot was completed a massive lightening storm rolled through the area.
PS I was disappointed in the final image they chose for the shot (comparing to past shoots).
