St. John Fisher College, located in the Rochester suburb of Pittsford, NY has been the summer home of the Bills since 2000. Over time the college has grown and so have the wonderful facilities. Early years at Fisher were “kind of rough” but improvements have been done and it’s a great experience. First of all it’s free (but you do have to walk past the merchandise tents), they provide off site parking at a few nearby schools and then you take a shuttle bus (yellow school bus that has seats not meant for adults – no leg room) for $1 and in 10 minutes you’re at the college. There are plenty of bleacher seats on both sides of the field and you are free to stand along the end zones. There are morning practices and some evening practices (which you have to get a free ticket for due to the huge demand for night practices).

I went to the Sunday morning practice #3 which was the first day for the team in pads and chose to sit on the east side of the field to avoid having to stare into the Sun all the time.

Camp runs through Aug 25, 2015 and I just might go back again to work on my photo techniques.
