I have not owned a 35mm film camera since late in 2002 when I bought my first serious dSLR, a Canon D60. I have been shooting color since I began photographing while in the Navy during the late 1950's. However, I have always shot b&w film first in 35mm cameras, and then later medium and large format. It wasn't until the late '80's that I began using 120 sized color negative film in Horseman 6x12cm roll film back on my WA 4x5 camera. It wasn't until the early '90's that I began loading my 4x5 film holders with color negative film. Through all the years I've hauled a 35mm loaded with Kodachrome, later loaded with Fujicolor negative film. This became my "snapshot" camera. Since that first dSLR, I have not purchased another single roll of 35mm color, chrome or negative.
