Hailed as "Chicago's first and only punk band" by their label, Big Neck Records. I share their enthusiasm for this band, but The Effigies might have more claim to that description. I'm also a fan of Naked Raygun, but they came after the Effigies. Chronological realities asside, this band is certainly keeping to the abbrasive and high-impact approach of the Chicago sound. The singer was an intense spectacle. The bassist and guitarist were in constant flux, juping off things and criss-crossing accross the floor. Note the drummer dripping in sweat.
