I stole the following description from Bob Doran at the North Coast Journal Weekly: "To my ear, Kickball plays bouncy rock leaning toward pop sounds, while the Strangers are more alt. Americana with shades of Ennio Morricone's spaghetti western music." The Strangers share all three members of Kickball with the addition of a whole lot more instrumentation. It is quite distinct from Kickball. I got a Nick Cave-vibe, but flavoured with the above discription. Country-story-tellin'-rawk.
