We had to wait for over a month and a half with nothing in the house, 'till our stuff got here. This did not stop us from traveling and seeing the country.
This man was the caretaker for the Rainbow Sheik's property.
Delivery! Our things were packed on July 4th and we didn't see them again until September 9th. Everything arrived safely.
First box into the house and guess what it was - Lego.
The boxes were left unopened and off we went to Liwa Oasis. Sun set over Liwa, from the hotel
Camel - dromedary actually.

Salt brush bush close up.
Just about to go over a 400 meter nail chewing dune edge.

Sand skiing hill -- no snow around here, but the equipment used is the same.
On the way home. Farming along the roads and it almost made us think we were in Sask. Note the sand just off to the side.
Do not have a clue what this vehicle is for, but we found it inside a huge pyramid shaped building where we stopped.
In the morning the dune tour leaves after 9:00 each day due to heavy fog.
