St. John's, Newfoundland view map

The MV Cape Roger , lead vessel, can be seen escorting a spanish or portuguese fishing vessel into the partially frozen harbour at St. John's. She's shown here in her Fisheries and Oceans grey hull colors. Now that the department has been expanded to include the Canadian Coast Guard, she's been painted the familar red with off vertical white stripe from the bridge on her sideshell. Info here.

I had thought for a long time that this vessel was the infamous Estai, but after finding another picture of the Estai and seeing the ship's colors, I had to conclude that vessel aft of the Cape Rodger is not the Estai, which looks like this. All the controversy aside, I really like the look of this picture.
