Many well known Polish people were born in Lwów. Especially very good flying engineers and gliding constructors like Adam Meus,Waclaw Czerwiński, Józef Niespal, Piotr Mynarski.

Ah, the good old days! Tickets were free, too bad they were only one way. Sometimes conductor Vladimir Ilich would even give you a free ride all the way to Kolyma.

If it were in Poland now, I couldn't visit it as a Serbian citizen without paying a very expensive visa, and providing a lot of documentation. That's why I like it having been taken by the Soviets :)

Beautiful. Lvov used to be a Polish town but the Soviets took it away.
