It’s a Dutch tradition to take a dive at new years day.
That happens on a lot of places along the coast.
The one in Scheveningen it the biggest one and now for the 38th year.
Over 10.000 people go into the water. They where lucky this year.
Saturday we had snow and frost but today the temperature was 3◦ C and the water temperature 6◦ C
The swimming is not so bad but goes out of the water and put your clothes on.
So you can see is that happens outside. For a view years ago it was really freezing.
After the dive they becomes pea soup and smoke sausage.
