I have been reading about the old Poggioreale and the one built to rehouse the survivors....both are sad stories.

This is a lovely composition, Pieter V

Superbly composed image of this hotel built too close to the sea.

Pity to see it closed, it seems to have a great place on the shoreline.

Careful composition and sense of abandonment. I like the way the building is to the side and the shadow falls across sand and sea. The lovely sky adds to the whole scene. V

Excellent image of this isolated old hotel. Doesn't look like a safe place to have a hotel.

I love this image! That structure really stands out against the sky!
