In the Bosque nuboso de Monteverde we see some red flowers striking in the green, azure Morpho butterfly and Leaf-cutter Ants. The only mammalian I see was a rodent I heard distincly to gnaw: the Agouti. As in the other parks here there is a two-three km signed circuit beaten by crowds of tourists... I believe that the only way to know the virgin forest remains machete!
