Lesser Spotted Woodpecker Picoides minor

Abandoned poplar plantation (Populus x canadiensis) with high percentage of dead wood,
typical habitat of Lesser Spotted Woodpecker (Dryobates minor) in NE Spain.
Other woodpecker species breeding in this habitat are Green Woodpecker (Picus viridis sharpei),
Great Spotted Woodpecker (Dendrocopos major) and Eurasian Wryneck (Jynx torquilla).
