Can you tell me how the owner of a Stanley Steamer would fill the tank on this car? Was the typical garage of a Stanley owner outfitted with any special plumbing? My circa 1900 garage has an odd swivel pipe system on the ceiling that I believe is for the purpose of filling a Stanley Steamer or similar car. Others tell me that this plumbing is a car wash.
