These photos were taken during the Shore Bird Ecology Workshop on Matagorda Island. The highlight for me was to see the Aplomado Falcons. They were introduced on the Island over a decade ago and are known to have about 23 pairs of adults. The Workshop was Coordinated by Cathy Wakefield, Conservancy Education Coordinator for the Texas Nature Conservancy. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Wayne McAlister.
