Riding Mountain National Park

The destination...Whirlpool Lake in Riding Mountain National Park...Oct is the time we enjoy most.The days are spent hiking the many trails the park has to offer. We are treated by Natures Beauty all around...even to be serenaded by Wolves and Owls is common.

Very nice Dennis ... took me back to my Manitoba roots ... many 'mood' pix there & I especially enjoyed the Grouse photos ... their colors are so vivid this time of year and especially when photographed against a white snow background ...

Beautiful photos - I love Riding Mtn and have visited Whirlpool Lake many times, but not in the "snow season"! Your photos convinced me that it's worth checking out in the Winter!

Man hat beinahe das Gefühl bei der Wanderung dabei gewesen zu sein.
