Pictures are worth a thousand words...I believe that's the saying ?

The winds again began to blow once again when a Snowy was spotted on the road side...as I sat at the cross roads and watched her move from one road to the other.
I was attempting to get a close as possible...headlights coming my way.
With the winds blowing from the South and the truck approaching from the North perhaps it was difficult for her to hear.
Now I'm hoping that the person can see the owl and that she will turn and see the oncoming truck.
I often talk to the birds and at this point was saying "look behind you...move "
I guess she heard me and did turn to see the truck down the road.
It's difficult to say just how close the truck was...but it didn't take her long to get out of the way.
Mr. Farmer had just come down to see if I needed help and apologized for scaring off the owl.
