I bought this camera at a pawn shop as a way to get in to medium format photography. It is a Pentacon 6 TL, it is kinda like a SLR for mediunm format, made by the East Germans and it is built like a tank, it weighs a lot. It came with a 80mm 1:2.8 lense, and took 6x6 format, on 120 or 220 film. The top flips up for thru the lense focusing, there is no built in light metering and i had to buy a hand meter, first time using one of those. It took crisp clear pictures, but alas it had a shutter problem, I took it in to get repaired and found I could buy almost 3 bodys online for the price of repairng this one. I never did buy the new body and it has been sitting ever since.
