The year started and ended with skiing Mt Hood (Timberline), Mt Saint Helens. In March I took a tour of Yellowstone, last week it was open to snowmobiles, then went to Zion and Yosemite on my way back. Still plenty of sking in april and may on Mt Hood (timberline & Meadows) and Mt Rainier (Paradise & campout on Grand Park). The trails in the Columbia Gorge were largely snow free in late June, nightlife goes all year but these photos were done in June. I do tours at the PCPA. In July I went to Yosemite for most of the month. The view down to Algier Lakes was the highest (and the earliest part of the month), so I was glad to see the way was clear though I was prepared to turnn around. That is me next to the tree! Once I got home I rested a bit , and was thinking of backpacking in WA, but after a workout at a gym my knee started hurting so I only did some short trip to Mount Rainier. By November skiing was starting again!
