Faithful Couple is actually two trees, but you can not tell it from this angle. Not as famous as the tree you can drive thru, or another one you could drive thru until it fell over, nor as big as the tree I think was called Grizzly. Still very majestic , I stepped out of the sunlight so as not to be over exposed.

The Mariposa Grove is near Yosemite's south entrance. Not as impressive as Sequoia National Park, but not as far away either. This grove and Yosemite valley was part of the orginal park. I went here after going to Wawona for gas and breakfast. Another very hot day. In two days I would start my finall overnight trip.

I had black jeans on because at first I was not planning on hiking the whole grove, but ending up doing that and going up to Wowona Point.
