First house ,left side, was my home from 1939 to 1966. It was bought in 1938 by Monsignor Gill and his two sisters, Bertie Gill, and Mrs. Molly O'Brien. They had originally owned the boarding house, called the Bridgeside, on the Beach Street bridge. They were originally from Jamaica Plain, then Milton. O'Brien sisters, Kay MacDonald and Bea Brady, and families, lived there,at #124. Bea Walsh, of Bea O'Brien Brady, raised her family there, the 4th generation, year round, until 1994. Green harbor still hods many family membeers, and the 5th generation now plays on the beach. Thanks for the momories.
