Hi Annette. During migration they do come through. I don't know how rare or common that is. There was one at Petrie Island in the Fall of 2006. There were Baird Sandpipers and a Red Knott at the Ottawa Beach at Andrew Hayden today and three Great Egrets at A Hayden just this side of Becks.:-)
