This is a close up and I recall a Chickadee I photogra[hed last winter that had a partial black breast. Seems it was a parasite of some sort and the bird would lose iys feathers but they would eventually grow back. That is what appears to be happening here and last year one or two jays did lose all their head feathers and this is also a phemomena that happends to Cardinals. Go to next image....
