This is a very agressive and territorial bird. I have seen them attack many other birds including Swallows ( this bird and its mate evicted Tree Swallows from their nest in this tree and took it over), Robins and Yellow Bellied Sapsuckers (who also had a hole/nest in this tree and the feud only finished when the baby sapsuckers and parents left for good).
