This smaller than usual female Rose-breasted Grosbeak fledgling spent some of the afternoon in one of our service Berry trees. Her manners reminded me of Pine Grosbeaks :-). The lemon yellow under-wing feathers show up quite nicely here. The males have the same pattern under the wings but with the crimson rose color vs the yellow that is showing here.
