This bird's ( exaggerated) rusty patch makes it the most colorful Creeper I have come across and even though the bark on the tree is blurred, the camouflage on this bird is still apparent. I am wondering if the rusty like patch is an adaptation because the woods where this bird resides has many pine trees with this color mixed into the bark.
