The late light makes for warm colors but I do think its a juvenile. At one point it dropped down into the cedar hedges on the East side of my yard . A Chickadee eventually flushed to an adjoining bush and was visibly upset. The shrike eventually left the hedge and I got a few shots of it in this Manitoba Maple.
