Hoary Redpoll,,,

That frosty look, the minimal streaking and you may also note the whiter rump just showing leads me to think this is a Hoary...really stood out from the other 12-15 Common Redpolls in my yard and this one stayed pretty far off most of the time....hoping to get a closer view in the coming days.

Sure looks good for a Hoary to me! The extreme paleness, almost lack of streaking, big white wingbar and lower scaps all look great for a hornemanni.
