This bird showed up in May 2009..A nasty accident with a window I think. It had a mate and one young one and ended up alone near the end of the Summer. Two other Jays would often chase it out of my yard but it persisted and I put crushed peanuts out for him/her. Srill, this bird would take peanuts in the shell over those crudhed for him. It disapeared in early September and hopefully migrated and will return. As of October 21 the other two Jays continue to visit daily...
