17 Dec, 2015. The Douglas C-47/DC-3 Skytrain was born 80 years ago today.

17 Oct, 2009. This last flying DC-3 in the Philippines crashed in Villa Fidela, Brgy. Aldana, Plaza Quezon, Las Piņas, Metro Manila. May all aboard that perished rest in peace.

30 Jan, 2007. Perhaps one of the last 2 flyable DC-3's in the country. When these photos were taken another DC-3 was being refurbished in Manila (see https://pbase.com/image/72955573) while another had just been flown out by Cathay Pacific for its anniversary.
