Several commercial flights arrive and depart from the new CGY-Laguindingan airport despite the absence of control tower personnel.

However, instructions are given by the old CGY tower at Lumbia which is 16 air miles (25.75 kms) southeast of Laguindingan, or approximately 25 miles (40 kms) away by land.
