Hi Shirley, I do not think there are any regularly scheduled flights by any airline to Baguio anymore. Most people visiting the place travel by land nowadays.

Hi Flor, there are currently no scheduled flights to Baguio. Last Sept. 12 Zest Air ceased flights to San Fernando which was an alternative airport to Baguio.

Hi Carolyn, There are no flights between San Fernando & Cebu. Your best bet is to fly out of Clark. Effective March 29 PAL which codeshares with Air Philippines flies out of Clark to Cebu M-W-F-SU at 7:20PM. Cebu Pacific flies the same route M-W-F at 8:45PM. If none of the above work, there are many flights out of Manila for Cebu. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info Ronnah. Zest Airways had thrice a week flights to San Fernando, La Union. The service started Aug. 6, 2010 and had free shuttle services to Burnham Park in Baguio. I don't know when they stopped servicing the route. SEAir also had service to San Fernando, La Union & complimentary land transfers to Baguio. Flights started on Apr. 14, 2010 but service ceased on June 30 of the same year on orders of the CAAP. Sunstar reported that SEAir, ". . .tried to open flights to Baguio but cancelled on the last minute".

July 7,2010. Xindie, I hope you read the news today about Sky Pasada's temporary stoppage of flights to Baguio. The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) suspended the carrier's operations on July 1 & has ordered the company to include additional safety features such as an emergency door to its LET 410 aircraft.

Hi Jo, there are no published commercial flights to Baguio anymore. However, SEAir has recently started to fly from Manila to San Fernando, La Union three times a week: Mon, Wed & Fri. I wish the airline would update its website to include scheduling of the above. Hope this helps.

Hi pilot, Asian Spirit had a promo when this flight was taken. One-way MNL-BAG cost P1,500.00 exclusive of other fees. Total cost P2,352.00. Did they canceled flights temporarily? and resume in the future or just forget it. Who ever decided to cancel or to no more flights from Manila to Baguio or other way did not do a good job. Hope to re-consider operating it back the Manila-Baguio flights.

Am I to believe that the airport I've been bragging to friends out here in europe does not fly any aircraft to and from Manila? I wanted to fly home in November from Manila. And thinking of the ordeal I'll be having - flying all the way from Amsterdam to Manila is a pain in the butt. Any airlines that fly to Baguio other than Asian Spirit? Please help! Thanks!!

Hi again jhydee. Seair is supposed to resume Manila-Baguio flights soon. The airline will be have Monday, Wednesday and Friday flights using the Dornier 328 aircraft.

wha, i got shock to know that no more flight from manila to baguio,everytime my husband came home he use to take plane back home but i'm not updated that Asian spirit now Zest already cancelled their flight in our place...i don't believe it why i can not find booking flight to Baguio city in the internet? i even went to their office here at session but saw it as empty and open for lease...these pictures remind me my first time to take Asian spirit we are just 4 pasengers and when PAL stop their flight,i was amazed fully book most of the time...mabuhay ang Asian spirit New refreshing in the air...i'm still thankful i been part of their flights...

Thanks for the great photo set. Very much enjoyed it, reminds me why I like to visit Baguio. Out of 8 flights to/from Baguio, luckily only the last one has been canceled due to weather! Don no need to worry about the airplane! Last few times I traveled to Baguio, they were using a DHC-7(mid 1970s) airplane instead of the YS11(mid 1950s) in the photo, which are perfectly suited to higher altitude short airstrips. Even the YS11 is a good trip:) Enjoy the trip!

Great documentary of your Manila-Baguio flight. The scenery along the way to the city of pines was beautiful up from 10,000 ft. especially the view of Baguio City. I'm a frequent flyer too(mostly jet aircraft and never been to Baguio City yet)but this route is amazing though scary and dangerous i guess when the area in Baguio City is blanketted with smog and clouds that could be a threat for a low flying turbo props. A PAL HS Siddeley HS748 turbo prop long time ago hit one of the mountains in the area and killing all people on board the aircraft. Such a thrilling flying experience i guess for me on a turbo prop if i visit Baguio in the near future.It gives me an idea of how it looks like flying to Baguio. Great!
