There are many types of similar Hoverflies but I think this is Eristalis tenax.

A dark insect against a pale flower is where macro photography starts to get a bit difficult. All you can really do is to spot meter and add on a bit of exposure compensation which will inevitably cause the flower to be overexposed.

But I think a bit of careful work with Curves would still work wonders on this photo.
