604 Elsbeth

That would be the left wing of these apartments with probably an A,B,C and D unit entered through one entryway. I do not know which apartment that Lee and his wife would have been in.

Well the city has sent in a crew with bulldozers and has leveled the property so Dallas has removed that part of history like they think that people will forget! BTW one of the demolition crew was on the news and he said that they were having a tough time bringing the old (1920's) building down.

I hate to says it but this Building has been recently demolished- Dec 2012- and the owner has been selling items from the unit that the Oswalds lived in (not sure if they were even in the unit at the time) and bricks from the building itself. I do not know why the city issued the permit for the demolition and allowed the owner to send the property into disrepair. As of today the demolition is still going on and am not sure if anything will replace it.

Warren Report says Apt. 2 from November 3, 1962 until apprOximately March 1, 1963. I hope to take a trip to Dallas one day and do a tour of all these sites. I was 5 years old and I remember. Thanks for posting these pictures!
