Clyde worked at the plant in the late 1920's. Not sure if he was at the NuGrape job before or after this job. It is known for sure that he worked here for several weeks at least. Local police were looking for him for minor burgulary charges during this time period and many employers would fire him even though he was considered a good worker by them, they just didn't want to deal with the cops. Looks like Clyde had built up a reputation for burglary work and out of town robberies before he was caught in Waco where he subsequently escaped and was caught in Ohio to be sent back to Texas State Prisons.
The plant was closed several years ago and the Dallas Independent School Distric now owns the location.
