Clyde Worked at the Nu Grape Soda Company for some time in the late 1920's. This is just a few blocks over from where his sister lived with her husband. The plant may have been in this 1 story building or in the two story next door (confirmed for the 2 story building) or both. Odd side of the 1700 Block of S Ervay.
There also looks to be a movie theatre location at the end of the row of buildings.
This whole block was later owned by Jack Ruby who had a Theatre/Club in the end building with the marquee that was called the Ervay Theatre. Jack owned these business' from the late 1940's through 1953 and had a club at 1717 S Ervay called the Silver Spur (what is now the one story section). (this info from the Warren Commission Report).
