A Modified Lenscap is Used to Provide Aperture Control for a Reversed Maxxum AF Lens
A modified lens cap and a printed scale is used to provide aperture control and readout for Maxxum and Sony Alpha lenses when used reversed for close up work.
Since the camera provides aperture control and readout, there is no aperture ring on Minolta/Sony AF lenses. This accessory provides aperture control and an f/stop scale.
Normal lenses as used here are much better reversed when working at magnification ratios greater than life size (>1:1)
A 55mm filter ring is added to the modified cap for accessories such as the twin or ring flash as well as a protective lenscap and filters.
Coming soon in this project gallery is a ring that is used in conjunction with a cable release for automatic iris control that will also trigger the camera.
