I have been involved in photography since childhood. My Dad was an avid photographer, he taught me the fundamentals. Some of my fondest memories are of me and my Dad either on photo shoots or in the darkroom.
The first camera I bought was an Olympus Pen FT, back in 1968.
I moved on to full frame Minoltas (SRTs XE7 X700) using mostly Kodachrome.
I also use a variety of large format (Calumet monorail) and medium format cameras for B&W
I have a special interest in macro photography and microscopy.
I have an unreasonably huge camera collection (over 500 last time I counted). I am especially interested in Olympus, Minoltas, Mirandas and quality American made cameras.
My series of digital cameras was this; Olympus D-620, Olympus C2500L Minolta Dimage 7, and latest, a Konica Minolta Maxxum 7D DSLR.
For Digital Darkroom work, I use Photoshop 7 and an Epson 1280 fitted with a MIS continuous inking system.
It is interesting to see someone who willingly works with film
after taking the digital plunge. My film-to-digital transition
is described here:http://www.pbase.com/listorama/photo .
