Hi,

It is amazing work to explain those pins setting. Would you tell me is that possible to connect an external x-sync connector by modification? If yes, which pin should I connect?

Will the internal flash still work after the modification?

Futhermore, is that pin8 to 11 work with direct connection? (I mean if it works if I connect a microphone directly to those pin).

Hi,

which pin is X for use external flash in manual mode ?
i need only Ground and X Contact.

What if you replaced that big cap with a smaller one (or just a wire) and took your feed from the actual flash-bulb connections?

Made a macro arm flash for the NEX with the your help (dismounting of the flash unit)

Could you pls describe how to open the NEX flash.
Hav boght a spare one. ANd would like to try to add some arm on it to be used for Macro photos...
