Extend the lens to the 70mm position.
Look in the forward edge of the focus ring and locate the two guide notches in the focus ring and corresponding notches in the forward tube.

how do you make sure this hood part is back to the normal place? like it is now loose and not able to focus (I know it is the part that if it is loose it wont focus)
