The Hatchlings

For the second year in a row, we were fortunate
enough to partake in a hatchlings (or baby turtles) release

Our friend Manuel once again wanted me to be the "official photographer"

In addition, he asked me to read his "turtle school" textbook so I could help him explain
the release process and teach the guests a little more about the turtles

It was a very successful hatching, with 99 hatchlings out of 109 eggs

I think it was a magical time for all involved

(Big thanks to Nikki for taking over behind the camera while I was busy helping Manuel)
